This Privacy Policy describes how Daytonix LLC, doing business as ProtechBand (“ProtechBand,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our marketing website, contact us, use our products and services (including the ProtechBand dashboard and wearable safety devices), or communicate with us by email, phone, or SMS/text message.

1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Name, work email, organization, industry, phone number, and message content when you request a demo or contact support
- Account and profile information when you or your organization use the ProtechBand client dashboard
- Mobile phone numbers you provide if you opt in to receive SMS/text messages from us
Information from use of our services
- Device identifiers, battery/connectivity status, and location or zone presence data generated by wearable devices and related infrastructure (e.g., beacons or access points) as configured by your organization
- Alert, incident, and audit-log data created when the platform is used for safety alerting and response
- Technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and approximate location when you access our websites or dashboard
Enterprise customer deployments are typically governed by a customer agreement and may involve processing of workforce-related data on behalf of the customer organization. In those cases, the customer is responsible for notices and permissions to its employees and contractors.
2. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, provide demos, support, and product information
- To operate, secure, and improve the ProtechBand platform and wearable safety services
- To send transactional and service messages (e.g., account, security, or incident-related notices) as authorized by your organization
- To send marketing or informational SMS/text messages only if you have expressly opted in
- To comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect the safety and rights of users and the public
3. SMS / text messaging (TCPA-aligned)
If you provide a mobile number and consent to receive texts from ProtechBand, the following applies:
- Program description: Messages may include appointment/demo reminders, account or support updates, and (where separately consented) marketing about ProtechBand products and services.
- Consent: Opt-in is voluntary and not a condition of purchase. Providing a phone number on a web form alone is not treated as SMS consent unless you clearly agree to receive texts (e.g., checked opt-in).
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: You can cancel SMS at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation and you will no longer receive SMS from that program. For help, reply HELP or contact Support@ProtechBand.com or +1 (913) 274-9960.
- Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- No sharing for SMS marketing: We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share opt-in consent with third parties unrelated to providing our messaging service.
Service providers who send or deliver messages on our behalf (e.g., SMS gateways) may process phone numbers solely to provide that service under our instructions and applicable agreements.
4. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us host, support, analyze, or communicate (under confidentiality and use restrictions)
- Your organization and authorized administrators when you use ProtechBand under a customer account
- Professional advisors, or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (subject to this policy or equivalent protections)
We do not sell personal information as “sale” is commonly understood for marketing list brokerage. We do not share SMS consent data for third-party marketing.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Our marketing site may use essential cookies and similar technologies for security, preferences, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.
6. Data retention & security
We retain information as long as needed for the purposes described above, to meet contractual obligations to customers, and as required by law. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Your choices & rights
- Email or call us to update contact details or request deletion of marketing contact records where applicable
- Opt out of SMS via STOP as described above
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails (transactional messages may continue)
- Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; contact us to exercise them
Employees of customer organizations should contact their employer regarding workplace privacy practices for ProtechBand deployments.
8. Children’s privacy
Our marketing site and services are directed to businesses and adult workforce users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where required by law) via this site.
9. International & third-party links
We operate primarily from the United States. If you access our services from elsewhere, you understand information may be processed in the U.S. Our site may link to third-party sites (including the client login at dashboard.protechband.com); their privacy practices are their own.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will change when we post updates. Continued use of our site or services after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
